Ipex 2010 sparks new wave of industry optimism – Tens of millions of pounds invested.., Professor Frank Romano, international analyst and Ipex ‘Champion in Print’ best summed up the mood of exhibitors and visitors when he declared that “Ipex 2010 has demonstrated that the printing industry is back in business”. Trevor Crawford, Ipex 2010 event director, commented: “We’re delighted with the visitor numbers which are roughly in line with 2006, despite considerable industry consolidation. The notable increase in international visitors underlines the importance of Ipex to the printing industry.”

creative images has completed an order for 3000 Marketing Toolkit’s for our client, the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime.
The Toolkit was produced in six different languages and will be used at upcoming conferences in various countries.

A navigation PDF document was created and copied onto each 1GB memory stick, this navigation document provides the user with information in his/her language.
All the material on the PDF was created to help promote information on the subject of terrorist prevention.

The complete order was assembled in Bratislava before being delivered to the UN in Vienna at the beginning of July 2010.

The whole event will be the first time that “St Patricks day” will have been held in the Main square (Hlavné námestie) and it should be a fantastic evening with all the entertainment that the Irish Chamber of Commerce have set up.

The Irish Chamber asked us at creative images to help promote the event. creative images provided advertising in form of official flyers and also a very interesting marketing campaign which involved inviting all the members of Facebook’s Secret Bratislava to the event. creative images suggested that Secret Bratislava members would all received a personal invite to the biggest St Patricks day that Bratislava has seen, whilst also being given the opportunity to win prizes! The cross promotion not only helps the Irish Chamber of Commerce have a wider reach with marketing the country of Ireland and St Patricks Day in particular, it also rewards the members of Facebook’s group “Secret Bratislava” for their input on the highly successful group that has taken Bratislava by storm.

PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION on Friday 19th March in the Main Square (Hlavné námestie), 19.00 – 21.00 The Curragour Piper & Drummers band with Irish dancing sets performed by the Avalon Irish dancing group. The Curragour Pipers & Drummers are from Limerick, Ireland. The Band perform a varied selection of lively Irish Pipe Music including Jigs, Reels, Hornpipes, Slow Airs and traditional ballads They will also be performing during the week from 20.00 at Gremium Pub on Thursday 18th March and from 20.00 at the Dubliner on Saturday 20th March.

New contract: 3000 USB Marketing Toolkits is a post from: Chris Plant, creative images

My aim is to see how many members would join a group such as this and how information could grow without all of it coming from one entitiy or source. ie. me. This group hopefully would use information uploaded by each member to help each fellow member learn or understand something new in the city that they live.

The Bratislava idea was hatched after I had seen a live TV broadcast about the group that was set up in London, Secret London started the whole “Secret cities” idea off. I personally decided wanted to create an English speaking area where myself and my friends could learn more about the city in which we reside from the people that lived in the city and knew the most about it.

The project is nearly two weeks old and I already have 791 members… something to watch out for and something that shows that live social media marketing has a great potential. 2010 is a real jubilee year for ispo. Not only does it boast the 70th edition of the world´s largest sports equipment fair, it also marks the event´s 40th year since launch. Back in 1970 the first international sports fair was held in Munich, at the old exhibition centre, on a total of 45,000 square meters of exhibition space. 11,000 trade buyers from 34 countries made their way to the city for that event, and in doing so they set the ball rolling for ispo´s successful future. In 2010, too, Messe München had approx around 2,000 exhibitors presenting their products on 175,000 square meters of space at this well established platform for trends and innovations.
